Title: what new plane do you guys want in AH most?

4.) P-47D Razorback (The razorback over the Bubble canopy D just because it looks so cool!...If it was good enough for Gabby it is good enough for us.)

I know, the last one is another US fighter, but c'mon...it's the Thunderbolt! I figure the Hellcat can wait for when HTC gets the time to add carriers.

Post by: Nath-BDP on June 13, 2000, 05:05:00 AM: Kawasaki Ki-61-II Kai, late-war high altitude variant of the Hien, only 99 were built. It had a top speed of 379 MPH at 19k and climb to 16,405 feet in 6 minutes.

J2M5 Raiden 'Jack'
Also a late-war variant, top speed of 382 MPH at 22k, the MK4U-4 Kasei 26a engine it was equipped with also had a three-stage supercharger.

Ki-84 shouldn't be a perk plane... it is equivalent to the Spit IX.

190 D12, 2x MG151/20 and 1 Mk 108, sweet plane.

And the Me 410.

Do you know that Lagg-3 was called "varnished guaranteed coffin" by Russian pilots? If to have a choice of the Russian early war plane, Yak-1 or Mig-3 would get my vote.

Few more Ground vehicles
Roads
Multiple area HQs for each country

Railways

Needed would be the Dewotine D.520 and Potez 631 for the French and the Bf110 for the Luftwaffe...Ju88 and He111 would be nice for the scenario too. Also would be cool to have the Fokker G1A Mercury and XXI models.

Other Aircraft (assuming that the Lancaster and Ju88 are coming in 1.04), in order that I'd like to see them:

H8K2 "Emily" - 'Cause it ain't a "Betty", has good armor and armament.
Fw190D-9 - 'Cause the LW boys need a late war FW.
Tupolev Tu-2S - 'Cause the Russians need a bomber and this onw is very good.
He177- 'Cause it would kinda give the LW boys a heavy bomber, and its weird.
Savoia-Marchetti S.M.79 - It'd give the RA boys a bomber, and its weirder.
J2M3 Raiden "Jack"- 'Cause it's a great fighter that hasn't been modeled.
P-47 - 'Cause the Yanks need to fill out their late war ETO aircraft list.
Mosquito MkVI, MkXVIII, MkXXX - One of the best aircraft of the war.
F6F Hellcat - Workhorse fighter of the Pacific.
T34/76, T34/85 - Best all round tank of the war.

That list would, I think, give a good base of aircraft to build on, while giving a toy or two to each side.

Nope.
All the best russian bombers were tactical (like the germans) and of all of them my favorite would be the PE-2 with the ASH 820-FN motor. Several thousand were made around 1944-45. Thing a 2 engine bomber, lightweight, low drag and two La-5FN radials stuck on the thing (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

The Tu-2 was the one with the twin Ash-82FN's. It was a twin-engined tactical bomber with top speed of about 340 mph and a 3000 lb bomb load.

Pe-2 was a dive bomber with VK-105. There were only 32 of them built with Ash-82FN. It was a neat plane, but the bombload (1300lb) is less than that of many fighters! I'd rather have an Il-10 for low level work and dive bombing. And for level bombing the Tu-2 is clearly superior.

The maximum load was 4x100kg in the bomb bay and 2x100kg in engine nacelle bays, as well as 4x250kg on external racks. That's 1600kg, or about 3500lbs in total.

The Pe-2FT with VK-105PF engines had a top speed of 360mph.

In it's 1st engagment totally suprised the germans...12 (or some such #) jumped a few hawks...lost like 7 for no french damage...after that germans refused to engage em in turning fights.
