Title: Suggestions to Improve to Mission Editor
Post by: HaHa on December 23, 2000, 02:03:00 PM
Allow for the option to add:

Any fighter
Any bomber
Any vehicle
Any goon/capturer

To the mission planner. This way generic - country wide missions can be made that lets people know how many are attacking the southern bases, northern bases etc..

I would like to see the missions listed right on the standard view of the clipboard (on the ground of course).  Its either funny or sad to hear people advertising across the chat buffer that they've created a mission.  Advertising should be done for you by the system.  Put it where people see it.

Right now its buried deep in the map room where nobody goes.

Hans.

I agree - when people login missions should be broadcasted to accept or refuse. Alot of people get confused when it comes to "how to accept" a mission.

broadcasts... hmm ok so long as it isn't a dialogue box.  Perhaps Orange text in buffer announcing whose mission is on standby.  Possibly once a mission is complete the creator hits a button to finish it which also transmits the orange text message to all teammates.  but make sure this cannot be abused such that a player can spam orange text..
