Funny that you asked for gunsights. I had just finished experimenting with a multiple color, varying opacity gunsight. If you would like to try it you will need to place it in the sights file manually and rename it if you already have one named Aim. Here is my squad widget to download it from: http://gruppeoutlaws.50megs.com/box_widget.html (http://gruppeoutlaws.50megs.com/box_widget.html)
I have a great deal of difficulty loosing the target due to the sights blocking my view. I adjust the opacity, but often loose the cross hairs where I need them. In this sight the middle of the target is brighter, and the bottom portion is another color. I am trying this to increase deflection angle accuracy as well as keeping an eye on where the rounds should go.
Not really that complicated, I use the bottom green area to line on the target, and the middle bright red-orange piper to sight where the rounds would lead.
Let me know if you try it, what you think.
