I'm going to hold off on getting it in case the reported rumors are true and there will be a PC version within the next few months.  If there isn't then I'll get it for the Xbox 360.

I think I'm going to wait, my buddy from Iraq is going to give me his second Xbox 360, then I will go out and buy it.
I have all the games other than three, I even played the old RE1 on PS way back when. I got 2 couple of weeks ago and beat it about 4 times, and so I stoped playing it. 4 was one of the more fun games of the RE, probably the best IMO. I think I have beat it about 30 times already lol. I have 0, one of the origonals for the GC, took me a wile to beat that one though, that one was probably the hardest of the all. I'm going to look at the RE site now, and see how it looks, probably pretty sweet.

RE5 is definitely the best of the lot but it's no longer a 'horror survival' game like the previous versions.  It's now a pure 3rd person action game that has mutants/zombies as bad guys.  Funny thing is, when I played a little bit of it, I couldn't have comparing it to the last Metal Gear Solid game and farCry 2.  Guess it must be the African settings.

In the new society, there is a good chance that games will tend to turn away from reasoning, to action. I saw it RE4, it wasn't like the others. The other sides one's like Code Veronica X, or Outbreak I really don't consider them as first rate RE games. More or less, there wasn't as much, if any, reasoning to RE4 like, lets say, 0 had. When I got to the part that you had to light up the statues, I was pretty much cluless, that took me forever to get past. The other three had the same situations, but were much eaiser to get past, just their maps were huge. 2 was a huge map that you had to get past, took about 3 or 4 minutes to get from one end to another.

I can see the change in the games, I just hope that maybe they get back to the old style of RE.

That sucks.... I wanted a really dark and horrific game in full surround sound and hi-def.

Now it just sounds like it'll be CoD 5 with zombies instead of Japs.  :cry

Yeah... that's heaps of fun. Get some mates over, get some beer and waste some zombies.
