So, some like 8 y/o kids try to prank call me. Course, they've never heard of *67... lol.
So, I just call them back, get them to get their parents, and get them in trouble.
:lol

I'd just laugh and let them have their fun.

Yea... but after the 3rd or 4th time, when they aren't smart enough to realize that I have their number, it gets old. :lol :lol

A few years ago, when caller ID was just getting a little common, I had it on one phone by my computer. One night, the phone rang at 2AM. I picked it up, groggily said "hello" when some teenage fool started saying what sounded like "duckma". He said it several times. I hung up. A few minutes later, same thing. Again, I hung up. Now, laying there pissed off, I wondered "gee, maybe I have his phone number on the caller ID on my phone by the computer. Got up, went to the phone, picked up the cordless handset and was checking the number, and the phone rang, again. Same guy. But, this time, I said "how does this phone number sound to you, and I read him back his phone number. That startled him. He quickly said "don't say that" and hung up. I stood there slightly amused, when the phone rang again. This time, same fool trying to sound like an adult apologized, said he caught his kid messing with the phone and would make sure it stopped. He was scared, I could tell that. I basically just said "this (c)hit better stop right now" and hung up. That was the last I heard of that fool. All in all kind of funny in the end.

Back when I was in High School...97-01, round about 10th grade I discovered a website for some phone company that would call up "your" number to tell you about their services. You can probably imagine where that went, completely anonymous making a pain of myself...oh to be in HS again. We also had a machine in the band room (band geeks for life) that when programmed, would call down a list of numbers to inform of a fundraiser, event, etc. If you could get access to that, it was also game on. Course that one only worked about twice before they got smart about it.
The website was the best though, I can only imagine that if they called back the number that just called them, they'd just be offered another sales pitch :devil
