YOU DONT MESS WITH THE ZOHAN.

Last I heard it was about $1800 for 30 minute ride (might have been an hour...).
I've often thought about it, but it would also require airfare, hotels, etc. - about $3000 for the trip. If I ever had the money, it would definitely be worth it!
BTW - for about $440, you ccan hitch a ride in one of the Collings Foundations (?) B-24 or B-17's if they come to a airport near you.

the lecture and preflight is all included .. not cheap but how many other places can you fly be allowed to fly a p-51 at?

A few years ago I was lucky enough to pay about 450 for a flight in an AT-6.
North American Top Gun had come to town!!
The flight was supposed to be for 30 minutes, but actually lasted almost an hour.
The best part was that they let you take the controls for almost the whole flight if you so choose. ( I took em up on the offer)
Now the AT-6 is definatly not in the same class as a P-51, but for the money it was an experience I'll never forget!(they film it too)
For obvious reasons they won't let you take off or land the plane, but the rest of the time the plane is yours.
If these guys ever bring their traveling thrill ride to your area, do it!! Its worth every penny and then some.
