So, as far back as the BBS will search, we've got 15 threads with a variation of the word "muppet" in the thread title.

Of those 15 threads, 5 were actually posted by Muppets.

Of those 5, 2 can be classified as "silly."

As such, I think that, even giving you the benefit of the doubt, youre recollection is off by that stated, less same, plus two. Since we started out at "a few hundred" thats a fairly significant error.

when the thought hit me i posted it, just being funny. i actually thought i would get others putting up similar posters regarding their own squads, not the whinny crybaby wha wha tadly crap that seems to be the only way people can respond to Muppets.

i had hoped it wouldnt get serious and would be a thread for the silly self promotion of each of our own squads. but alas i see that most would rather expend their energies on the cheasy trash talking of the Muppets instead. sad, i have more pride in being a Muppet than worries about running my mouth about other squads.

so maybe, just maybe if the only thought that came to you while reading this thread is "how can i poke the Muppets in the eye and take the wind out of their sails" instead of thinking "now what can i say here to promote my squad and boost the image and moral of my squadies" then maybe you need to check your priorities, and then check to see why it is that you dont carry much pride in your own before trying to trash those of us who do.

to the rest of you, well why dont you take the Muppets on and start accepting squad duels, maybe if you actually fought us and defeated us in something other than smack talk (not that you manage to do even that very often) then maybe we would have less to say and you would have more to brag about. just a thought :t
