Most of the inbound vox is too low, even with people checking the +20db mic option, with everything in the game and windows maxed out (below saturation).

good idea,
untill hcetih, or some other 9 year old gets excited and causes 26 brain aneurysms in 3 seconds.

I've seen auto-leveling in a number of apps. Otherwise those people get squelched, if they wont agree to tone down their settings. Which most reasonable players (not pre-teen squeakers and raging drunks) do when asked nicely enough.

I just turned all the game sounds down, then turn my computers volume up. Vox comes through fine now, and the game sounds still have room for adjustment.

This is what I have done from day one for vox as well. Couldn't hear any vox transmissions otherwise,

same here - set all game levels to 40% (and lowered a few individual ones even more) so I can hear vox properly.

That makes the transmit beeps, the squeekers, and anyone with loud vox .. very loud. This wish just seems like the simplest solution.
