If memory serves it is not realy a Jet.

Its some sort of hybrid ducted fan sort of thing with a piston engine driving something vaguely resembling a jet motor.  But it wasnt a pure jet powered plane.

Are your sure it's Italian?  That looks like a Swiss cross on the tail.
