Dear Skin Designer folks:
The 77th FS "Gamblers" respectfully request squad skins for the planes the RL 77th used for their planes.
The 77th is one of the oldest squads around, having been formed in WWI, and have fought in all wars and most police actions up to and including being Stationed in Iraq today.
From what little research I have done, they were deployed in the ETO and flew P51s, P38s, and possibly jugs as well.
Our squad is VERY proud of all the men and women who served in the 77th both in the past and today, and would be honored to fly those skins in-game to honor them.
Please feel free to PM me or post here if you are able to help.
I realize the hard work and attention to detail it takes to make them, so I appreciate your help and :salute you in advance.
Thank you very much for your time!
:salute

Not 100% sure this is a 77TH bird it is a 20TH f/g though.

A square tail symbol and squad ID letter code "MC" indicates 79th FS, not 77th. From www.littlefriends.co.uk (http://www.littlefriends.co.uk)
We'd need a circle on the rudder and letter code "LC" on the booms.

That "Jack" is a personal marking, not the 77th FS one. 77th was 4 7s and an ace.

If you're gonna do a 77th bird, do the one of the top ETO P-38 ace, Jim Morris.

Or one of their P-51s.

I know one of the 80th's guys, Mensa, was working on the "My Dad" skin. Haven't had updates on its progress in quite a while though.
