btw that rifle's lock/breech looks wierd because it had a cover for dirt and sand over it. It slides back with lever when reloading.
One easy way to recognize Arisaka rifles is their stock is made from two pieces of wood and if you look carefully you can see the horizontal seam where user keeps his cheek. Also its lock is having its own unique form even its based on Mauser type of lock.
