How about HTC compile a comprehensive list of all reasonable or doable wish list requests, by use of the popularity vote tool this should last for a complete tour so everbody gets a chance to pick the option that they do or don't wish to see, this would at least put things in a condensed view of what is really wanted by the bulk of the HTC community.
-
And on April 1st the B-29 appears on the list? :D
-
I like this idea. Create a comprehensive list of all credible wishes, like a FAQ, and make it a sticky.
-
Very good wish, it would be a relief to see our wishes are actually being considered

On April 1st the B-29 appears in the game.
What, you can't see it in the hanger? It's right there! I'm looking at it right now! I wish I had enough perks or I'd fly by the tower for you...

hmmmm i emphasise the "do-able" and "realistic" requests,
I would hate to see AH being run by the community :t,

I don't think that AH would be run by the community but I do think they would like to know what the bulk of their customers are looking for, I know I would, and it is still up to HTC to make those final decisions is it not.

my point being that 95% of wishlist requests are either not practical or would require so many man hours to include successfully in game without bugs that they wouldn't be worth it.
Just imagine a buggy WW2OL where people get what they want at the cost of a working playable game.
I couldn't care less for all the latest and greatest graphics/ terrain / planes/ subs /ww1/ korea etc etc if it means i can't take up my favourite aircraft and have a trouble free flight. Some people just want more and more and can't be satisfied with what is right before their eyes. to be a Htc butt monkey, this is the best ww2 air combat game around and I enjoy it everytime i take off ;)
The other thing is the amount of current bugs in this version that we hardly even know about or have cared to notice, which they are always clearing up and fixing for the next patches. take a look at the last updates readme and you'll see what i mean.

I think that's an exaggeration. While a lot of wishlist requests are silly or downright bizarre, there are many, many good requests that get pushed off the front page quickly because of all the heat the silly ones generate (not to mention that someone always has to wish for the B-29).
Some of the good wishes, off the top of my head:
- Ability for CM to control the distance between ships in a fleet
- Forum ignore feature
- Requests for early war fighters and bombers
- Greater fidelity GV controls
- More CM tools in general
- No bombing/shooting forward guns from f3 view
And I could keep going... ;) These are all great requests, but we haven't even seen a new airplane from HTC in almost a year. :uhoh

If it was structured at the top of this forum, and the original post is modified by HTC adding new "possible" wishcraft, it would certainly clean this joint up alot. And stop people from replying with the word "Search"
And since once the plane is on the list, you wont have to worry about another sally starting a new B29 thread............ :aok
But while we are on the subject, Vote yes for proposition B-29!!!
-
I reckon HTC has a to-do list with anything they picked up from this forum as feasible. You wouldn't really need more than that. Putting up a stick authored by HTC would get too close to liability. "You stickied xxx and yyy for a year now, why don't we have it yet?"

Responce-First it is up to HTC whether it is worth their time or not to make the any changes (not you)
Just imagine a buggy WW2OL where people get what they want at the cost of a working playable game.
I couldn't care less for all the latest and greatest graphics/ terrain / planes/ subs /ww1/ korea etc etc if it means i can't take up my favourite aircraft and have a trouble free flight. Responce-Second that is fine for you, I don't think anybody would have a problem with the fact you don't care about these things, but it is very appearant that HTC does care and does want to improve and expand the games boarders in many area's (I guess you will have to live with that)
The other thing is the amount of current bugs in this version that we hardly even know about or have cared to notice, which they are always clearing up and fixing for the next patches. take a look at the last updates readme and you'll see what i mean.

Responce-And they will always be doing that, it is part of the beast, they can't get away from program bugs it will always happen
I will sum this up for you it's called PROGRESS, you cant deny it or stop it, so maybe you like to go back to playing pong on a atari
