Title: Heavier boats
Post by: SKYGUNS on March 21, 2009, 07:44:23 PM
E Boats are heavier and stronger than the wooden PT But lighter and faster than a destroyer. used mostly in the Mediterranean i believe, against German destroyers and well defended barges, These Nazi barges are cool as heck as well, could carry one tiger, had a quad 20mm and a 88mm not included other defences.

Why would an E boat be attacking German vessels?

Maybe you should watch it a little more closely then before rushing here and asking for it...

No, Its not that I'm rushing its just that i don't remember correctly, the show was yesterday. if you want a squeaker to mess with here http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,261050.0.html

here this may help, it had two torp launchers built into the bow of the vessel internally not externally like the PT had and it had more firepower than the PT. Its hull was metal but the Pt's was wood. It was just about as fast but not as maneuverable.

As far as I can remember, the E Boat was the British designation
for the German schnellboots.  The R and S classes were heavier than
Allied MTB and MGBs and diesel powered tayher than gas.
