Title: Is there a Definitive "How To" for the editor
Post by: A8HatTrick on March 22, 2009, 11:41:21 AM
Most of what I have learned has been through trial and error... but someone somewhere has to have a nice write up... would be nice if HT would have had at least a readme for it. :furious

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

Im on Vista, never had this problem while on vista before. FPS 30, 720 Reso and uncompressed..... and it wont play in windows

Are you talking .ahf files (recorded footage)?  If so you can only watch them in the AH film viewer, as they are not actually "films".  Use Fraps or the built-in film viewer converter to change it to .avi.

May need to record them on something else like fraps, then save them to play on Windows Media Player

I've had no success with using the Editor to convert to AVI.  Fraps though is easy-peasy.
