It's hard to believe that it's been out for almost eighteen years... I first bought it as a gift for my sister in 91 on a cassette. I fell in love and kept it for myself. I bought it on a CD in 95 and lent it to a friend and never saw it again so I had to rebuy it. I bought the re-release mainly for the second disc remix. They gave it a very clean, dry, modern approach which is quite fitting. It sounds remarkably fresh.
It is, IMHO, the most important hard rock album of the nineties.

It seems many fans paid for that album over and over...
first cassette I literally wore out so bad side 2 sounded like it was underwater. second after a few months it got stolen. third spilt a soda on it after only a month or 2.
I'm on my second CD too, first CD of it got stolen too.

Try and find "Live at the Fox Theater - Atlanta" if you can. Release has always been my favorite tune off of Ten. I'm thankful the radio never got a hold of it like Jeremy.

Release, over the years, has become my favorite song on the album (Garden is up there too). Anyone who's a big fan of this album should hear the remix.

Did I mention that I like the new mix?

LMAO I am so stupid. I read the thread title ans was like "What did he buy 10 of...this guys drunk or stupid"....lol
I loved Ten when it came out too. I got ahold of a bootleg copy of Live (the band) before hearing Pearl Jam and thought Pearl Jam ripped off Live's sound. Always liked Live alittle more because of that....and they never made it quite so main stream.

All I can suspect is you are high, as they are not even close to sounding remotely similar.

The nineties had music?

I did a lot of drugs when ten came out....I don't do as many drugs these daze, but that album is still good from beginning to end. I don't care for the rest of pearl jam's efforts after that, but I do respect gossard and mcready's playing to this day

Is this something I could maybe get from you?
