the only trouble is getting shot down afk while getting a fresh one or relieving yourself of the old ones. Smoke one hand beer the other and press x with your forehead.

I used to fly with beer and rum, or beer and vodka. Nowadays i donīt drink any alcohol so i fly with water and nicotinegum :aok
-
beer works, but i enjoy a nice hand rolled smoke the most.

Red wine and a 36K B17 mission over Rook HQ worked for me last night. :aok

Used to take off with a martini or two and then have some in-flight beers. Gave it all up for '09. Now it's a nice cup of tea usually. Only downside is I can't blame the tea for my poor flying...
-
Sweet Tea :aok
The occasional Dr Pepper or Coca-Cola
-
I never drink while flying, that's immoral.

Cognac in half-strength coffee... which I am told is more of a Luftwaffe habit but they must have had some real men in their group too! :D

Kona coffee is all I drink when in AH, I have enough problems already without drinking anything more than that.

Sweet Tea :aok
gaaaaakkkk! I hate it when I buy a bottle of tea and forget to read the label, take a big swig only to find out it's sweetened with one thing or another.
Assam tea in the morning, Iced tea in the late afternoon/early evening. Beer when flying....Hmmm, wonder if that is why I suck at this game.............. :D
-
Coor's Extra Gold, chased down by some 80proof ;)

Friendly Ordinance.

"Friendly Ordinance" (Beer Run to Normandy) by Ronald Wong
Factory Fresh Spitfire Mk IXe's make their way to the forward airfields of Normandy carrying kegs of beer. The English brewery of Heneger and Constable donated fresh beer for the troops fighting in Normandy, and someone (Johnny Johnson himself? Maybe but probably some beer-lovin Canuck in his wing, like Buck McNair ;^) came up with the idea of strapping the beer kegs to the underwings of the Spitfires that were being shipped to the forward airfields. The troops loved the freshly delivered, cold beer, but as with all good things, the British Ministry of Revenue and Excise stepped in and notified the brewery that it was in violation of the law in that it was exporting beer without paying the taxes on it. And that was the end of that. Read a short, first-hand account by Lloyd Berryman about a beer run he was on, here

I read a report on that story Boner. In the picutres they were filling some drop tanks with beer, instead of strapping the actual keg to the wings. How many stories like this were there?

Isn't that just like any government? You do something nice for the boys in uniform and they put the kaybosh to it.
I like the looks of the those cigars earlier. Wish the wife would let me smoke those in the house.

I don't drink alcohol, never had and never will. I have Hepatitis C

LOL, my little bro brought me a Soju t-shirt back from Korea when he was over there with the 3rd Ranger Bat training years ago. Funny stories about Soju... his recommendation was avoid it!!

Ahhh, so true. But I treat myself. Currently sipping on a Founders Dirty Bastard. I'm probably going to need a nap before I log on.........
