It has come to my understanding that a point systeam will be implemented to allow a player to "purchass" a super fighter (like a Ta 152,or a Volksjager). What if the same type of systeam were used to aloow those who acheaved enough points bombing targets to "purchas" a UBER bomber say an Ar 234.
Well what do you all think it would be fun and even though it is a jet i dont think it would upset the game ballence espechaily if only small numbers were in play (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Six or eight years ago General Paul Tibits was in Reno on a book and art signing tour. I got to speak to him.... and got him to sign his name on my '43 jeep's dash :-)
Just be glad I did not ask for a Uber Perk B-36 :-)
Remember, in real war the fighters have the fun and press, the bombers do the work. (I include "attack" aircraft in bombers)

Perks will extend to bombers as well. Obvious choices would be the Ar 234 and B-29. A couple of other possibilities could be the A-26 and Il-10.

Of course now that I'm thinking, that will force people to save the "uberride" to counter the moves of the other side....use my TA152 or ME262 now for grins, or save it for that damm B-29 Dweeb I know will be back.....

Just read an article on the A-26, and apparently it's quite a handful on landing. The pilot they interviewed stated that it had a very high speed on final, and when you got it down you had to use full rudder deflections to keep it straight, and sometimes that wasn't enough, so you'd have to use differendial braking. All this just to stay on the runway during landing (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).

Wasn't that way on the one I got to fly in :-)
Landing (and takeoff) was not a big effort to the pilot, and Galena Alaska does not have a big runway. I could see because I was sitting next to him. That was with a load of melting agent to drop on the Yukon River, to help stop ice dams from forming durring spring break-up.

As was my expirence in the 26. I'd be interested in riding that fire-fighter conversion once they get through restoring it. So many good planes are waiting to be rescued for utility duty (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
That dang plane practically lands itself.
Perhaps the pilot was describing a bad cross wind landing? Bout the only time I ever heard of having to use full rudder on landing.

That was one of the most fun rides I have had. Three G'g +, and floating after a pull-up to a wing over dive... :-)
And that lovely sound on take off.....
The pilot said it flew "like a damm big fighter" with the control forces and ballance being better than any other big twin he had flown.
