A few 'historically inaccurate' things I'ved noticed about the new aircraft is...
The Yak9U didn't have ShVak cannons, it used MP-20s which were alike in every respect as the ShVak 20mm but they weren't ShVaks.
The A5 never had MG FFs in the outboard wing position, however, the -10 Umrust-Baustaze or Rustsatze (field or factory conversion sets) had 4x 20mm MG 151/20 in the wings and there was also a variant with 2x 20mm MG 151 in the wings and 4x 20mm MG151 in underwing WB 151A containers which was the U-12, I think we should get both of these with a significant impact on performance.

Speaking of "historically inaccurate things" have you checked your aircraft marki....nevermind.

When did they put this thing in here and WTF is it for?

I suspect that Yak-9U's had both ShVAK and B-20 armaments. But not many of the lighter B-20 were available during WW2, so the ShVAK was probably more common.
The Fw 190A-5 did have MG FF in the outer wings. See here (http://www.csd.uwo.ca/~pettypi/elevon/baugher_other/fw190.html)
Standard armament did not change and it remained 2x1 MG 17, 2x1 MG 151/20 E , 2x1 MG FF.
As for the Fw 190A-5/U10 and U12, only a few experimental planes were actually built.
-
Actually sunchaser, there was a German unit named BDP, JG 0, they excelled in killing tards.
juzz, I said MP-20s not B-20s, totally different cannons, the B-20 designed by Beresin was the last Soviet cannon to enter service during WW2 and probably the finest.
9Us were delivered to the front lines with MP-20s not ShVaks, they were IDENTICAL.
I said nothing about how many U10 and U12 were produced, I was just saying that they are interesting CONVERSION SETS that were not 'built' along with the aircraft.
my bad about the MG FF in the A5 got a little too jumpy.

I've never heard of the MP-20 before. What was it, a license-built ShVAK?
You said we should get the U10 and U12 kits for the Fw 190A-5. I think not, because they were only experimental. Ie: the U10 became the standard wing on the A-6, and the U12 was only used in very small numbers. Btw: Umrustbausatz kits were generally built into the plane at the factory.

The MP-20 and ShVak were both designed in 1936, thats all I know.
The WB151A were field conversion sets, Rustaze (Field) and Umrust-Baustaze (factory),

ShVAK's were designated according to how they were mounted.
MP - Motor mounted
KP - Wing mounted
TP - Flexible
SP - Synchronized
But they're all still ShVAKs.

nice, thanks pyro.

and B-20 would be an actual machine gun bored out to 20mm that fired ShVAK 20mm. Same armament as a ShVAK cannon, most had disentegrating link feed reducing space needed for ammo. Slightly lighter gun though.

Grins....tardily.

Fw 190A-6/R1 - attack fighter with armament increased to six cannons and two machine guns (2x1 MG 17, 2x1 MG 151/20 E and 2x2 MG 151/20 E), by mounting of the WB 151/20 underwing pylons with cannons. This modification was based on the A-5/U12 version. In spite of previous plans, only a few planes with this armament were in Luftwaffe service units (e.g. in JG 11).
It sounds like the R1 kit wasn't used very much - why should it be an option in AH?
