Title: B-25H power settings/dials
Post by: RTHolmes on March 30, 2009, 07:29:41 AM
all sorts amiss here. 25H has WEP - not mentioned on clipboard (2600/48"). takeoff power states 2600rpm, dial shows 2400rpm max without using WEP. not sure whats wrong here - the engine model, the dials or the clipboard

Takeoff power is what they consider to be WEP.

indicated at 1000':
wep engaged: 2600rpm/52"
rpm/throttle full: 2350rpm/47"

clipboard info:
takeoff power: 2600rpm/44"
normal power: 2400rpm/48"

close enough I guess (although the WEP manifold is off) :)

though it makes me wonder why other bombers (eg. B-17s) dont have WEP/takeoff power modelled that way... :uhoh
