a friend has a laptop with a screensaver that she would like to have removed.
i am trying to figure out where it could have been saved to
it is one of those free screensavers that you download from questionable sources. i am not sure if there is a "default" place that most of them may save to or not.
thanks

Here's how you change it so it's no longer the actual screen saver.
At least by changing it so it's not on display, she has time to browse through the files to find out where it was pulled from to be used as the screensaver.
start
control panel
display
on the pop up window, select the screensaver file folder looking thing

Most screen savers are in the windows folder and have a .scr extension. If it was installed using an installation program you may be able to remove it in the add/remove programs section in control panel.
