I know this might be tricky but give the M3 a loadout of 10 troops and a vechicle supply. Im not sure but im pretty sure if you take supply it reloads the troop number so this would have to be turned off. But im sure this would be historical because tanks had there own supps to repair themselves during battle :salute

Same supplies you carry in your car to repair it in "battle". I don't know who in their right mind, in real life, would try to repair anything while under fire.
Lose a track? Bail out or button up and hope for the best. Read of a Sherman in Korea that became disabled and sat on a hill "behind the lines" for three days. The crew buttoned up and sat there until the position again became tenable enough that they could bail and get safe. Of course, they were under cover enough that the commies couldn't get to them either. But they didn't "get out and fix the tank".

Nah... the M3 is doing just fine. Leave the M3 be so that it is fragile, needs protection, and is dependent on its speed.
Now, if the proposal were for the Sdkfz 215, then I might go for it since all that is used for it to pummel cities and other strats for the omnious "bombing percentage" in the gv scoring category. Most dont realize that the 251 has (what seems to be) about triple the armor on it vs the M3. When paired with a bunch of tanks and wirbys there is no reason to take the M3 but yet it is knee jerk reaction to do so.
The 251 has the armor, the M3 has the speed.

My thoughts is that an M3 should be able to give a supp to one tank and still be able to have troops for when town is down, maybe not great idea but just a wish :aok

I'd rather see a 75mm or 105mm recoiless rifle mount option for the M3.

Agreed ghosth, bring on the guns!
Even more cool for the m3 & 215, mortars. :rock :rock :rock

Mortars would be a good option also.

No more Ghost Stop it! The good ideas are getting me way to excitable and distracted at work!

I know in WWII they carried 75mm and 105mm howitzers, and AT guns up to 75mm -- but recoiless rifles?

Kind of a weak gun though.
No recoiless rifles.
Replaced by the M-10 3-inch gun motor carriage in 1944.

Well I'm no experten on WWII vehicles.
I expect HTC would do the research before adding anything, and would also consider gameplay changes.
But I'd like to see "something" new come along.
Granted you can do very good indirect fire with an LVT 4 if you have a spotter and a ridgeline.
But the M3 would be faster, and would give you a more open view.
Not sealed inside a tin box on tracks.

As long as this came up. How about this idea. What about all tanks getting 1 box of supplies. You could resup yourself or a buddy once. Might be kind of a cool twist. Or at least a tank extractor? Liken the M88 (not sure if they had a like vehicle in WWII, M88 is not of WWII vintage). Just a couple of ideas.

Not all tanks, but some, might be a good idea.
