Title: C'mon!
Post by: TEShaw on April 02, 2009, 05:31:54 PM
PLEASE! (See how I said that?)

Make each arena-roster, and country-status, visible from every arena, with some silly dot-command, so we can view early, mid, and  late war places and have a sense of what's going on.

Is late war blue full?

I don't know cuz I'm in orange; so, I don't know if I should jump out of this arena, cuz maybe I can't get back in.  -ISH

C'mon, just make it nice!

regards, T. E. Shaw

OK.  Let me get this straight.  You are in the "popular" LW arena and want to know the numbers in the "not-so-popular" LW arena?  Or are you in "B" and want to know if you can get into the "popular" arena?

If it is the first scenario, why do you want to leave?  If you want to leave, why does it matter how many are in the less populated arena?  Because you already know it's less populated.

If it is the second scenario, just pop out of the less populated and see.  You know you will be able to get back into the arena you just left.  It's less populated.

Do you have any squad members in the other arena?  Tune squad channel (ch.5?) and ask what is going on in the other arena and what the numbers were like when they got in.

There are solutions to this problem you are asking to be solved already available.  Use them.

so what your saying is if htis would be implemented you would not be using it?

sorry but i think this is a very good wish and definitely a legitimate one. we all know how to log into other arenas wrongway but it would be nice to not have to leave the arena your in just to find out that the other LW arena is full and have to log back into the same one again.

no one said that his a necessary thing to have fullfilled but would save the players alot of time and hassle in finding out information.

What I am saying is, as it is now, I don't need to use such a system.  I can figure out who is where and how many without it being implemented.

I.E. it's not necessary.

It's not that big a hassle to find the information out.  It may take a bit of effort but it's already there.

yes that info is already available and yes it can be found other ways i am pretty sure that most everybody that plays the game knows how to obtain thisin other ways

however it would be a nice addition to be able to do it without having to leave arena i believe is the OP's point. you could find this information out faster than the arena can load up (on my computer anyway).

it is kind of a pain to log out of the arena you are already in to find out that the other LW arena is full.

personally i think this would be used quite often if implemented, therfore making it a good wish. Though i think that the most information that really needs to be in it is number of people in and allowed in each arena and maybe the map present in each one.

There are other perfectly legitimate uses for this requested feature.

I will often fly with members of my FSO squad in the LW arenas when my MA squadmembers aren't around.  Ie: my FSO squad is also an MA squad, but I'm not a member of it in the MAs.

It would be very handy to be able to look at the rosters of the other arenas to see if members of my FSO squad are on there.  For my own squad I can just type .sr and see what arenas my squadmates are in.  For other people, I can't do that without logging out and logging in to each other arena to check.

So I would certainly use this feature.  I know Wrongway probably wouldn't, but that's no reason it shouldn't be implemented.  It's a good idea.

Yeah.  I'd probably just check each arena because I'm not wouldn't be in that big a hurry and it probably wouldn't take me any longer than it does to type the command anyhow.

I know what your saying here but...What about non-squad pilot's DaddyO?
