Cute, but not a factory manufactured aircraft.

If I remember correctly this was a field mod/experiment and therefore not likely to ever see the skies in Aces High.

Did it see combat?

I remember another thread a while back where it covered this pretty well, it killed its turn performance. (even though, you shouldn't really be TnB'ing in a P-47 in real life WWII)

they where used once as a experiment.  They created to much drag, 60 rounds per gun and hurt performance of the p-47.

But think of the damage 2 x 20mm and 8 x .50 cals can do.
