Title: Aceshigh.exe message
Post by: CobraKev on April 07, 2009, 12:14:40 AM
Hi
I have downloaded AH, but when I go to run the game, I always get an error message. ( AcesHigh. exe has encountered a problem, and needs to shut down. ) Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

What is the error?

(from my experience, if AH dies that fast it is either because it is a directX problem or there is no sound card detected)

I just downloaded the game. I go to the short cut to play the game, and this message pops up. Aceshigh.exe encountered a problem and needs to close. This is the very first time I have tried to play this game.

Thanks

What does it say in the box that pops up?

edit: posting your computer specs (or better yet DirectXDiag) would help a lot too.

I don't think you meet the minimum requirements for Aces High to run.

Quote
Minimum Requirements

System RAM/Memory: 512MB

Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 64MB of RAM2

I may be wrong and I strongly urge you to wait for Skuzzy to respond before you take my word as gospel.

That Intel video chip is not able to run the game.  The computer also has too little RAM.
