  The mother of all night toys.The night fighter. Can u imagine flying outside of the range of your friendly radar and using "on board radar" to hunt targets.bringing to bear that awesome array of forward firing guns on your Beaufighter, Mossie,P-61,or the "mother of all night toys the He 219".

But during daylight its radar range is considerably less then your eyeball range.
