These guys are very lucky the cops got to them before the SEAL did. He was the SEAL that was the lone survivor out of his team in Afghanistan. You might remember the story about him, he was in the team that had their position over run and had to escape and evade. He was found some days later in a village he managed to take refuge in.

This is the story (http://www.navy.mil/moh/mpmurphy/soa.html) of Luttrell's mission in Afghanistan.

His dog was named Dasy. Not Daisy, Dasy.
D A S Y. The initials of his buddies that were killed in the attack. Not only was this dog his friend, he was a diddlying

OPERATION REDWING KIAs- On June 28, 2005, three of four SEALS on the ground (Murphy, Dietz, Axelson) were killed during combat operations in support of Operation Red Wing.

"The 4-year-old yellow Lab was given to him upon his return from the war to help him heal. He named it Dasy as an acronym for his SEAL team members lost in a mighty fight in which they were isolated and far outnumbered by Taliban fighters.
He wrote a book, The Lone Survivor, about the experience.
Luttrell said he still wrestles with what he went through. He doesn’t sleep at night, usually keeping his guard up until sunrise, just in case.
“I don’t talk about it much. I just don’t sleep at night,” he said. “I am in and out of the house all night, going, moving around.”
Luttrell and the men he was chasing were finally stopped by Onalaska Police Department.
Luttrell said he confronted the men. “I was like, ‘Which one of you guys killed my dog?’ ” he said. “They started talking smack.”

Seal or not, I'd do the same thing if someone killed my dog.

It's a damn shame he didn't get to them first, they would have deserved all they got.

The idiots probably don't even realize how close they came to paying the ultimate price for their stupidity.
:salute Luttrel
I'm sure these boys are gonna make some new friends real soon.

I sure did, and what you posted isn't anywhere on the page Ack-Ack linked to.

Those were my first thoughts as well, but no matter how much of a hero he is, or how big of scumbags they are, the law is the law. I'd rather not see this guy rot in jail over these love muffines.

Dont mess with a mans family, or dog. Wow I did some stupid crap as a kid, but going around shooting neighborhood dogs. Their goes my theory of evolution. Theres no way I could look at these d***f*** without wanting to kill them .

Understanding this mans story and the story that went into the operation that day, and how many people died, if that man had catched up with them, and had taken life, i could only nod with approval.
Bad enough the guy walks his house at night in a living hell, then the only thing that brings him security get murdered in front of his house, yeah..just a bit pissed.
Hope those people who did this to him enjoy there tea bags. :rock

From reading the stories and some of the comments from the local police chief, it really doesn't sound like he would have been arrested if he didn't hold his fire when he had one of the shooters in his sights.

I enjoyed reading the account in the book. It was a bad thing but the man put together an amazing recollection of all that happened in the time he was moving through the story.

What a damn shame ...the really sad part is the jerk who killed his dog will get a slap on the wrist by some loser judge. The judges of America live in some kind of fantasy land. They sit on their benches full arrogance and think they rule the world, they could not be more out of touch with reality. After what this young man (seal) went through for his country the dog killer should be chained to a truck and dragged till dead. Frankly, the average "modern day" American could use a good punch in the mouth, they have no respect for anybody, or anything.
When I was growing up nobody would have even dreamed of killing a combat veterans dog. If they did? ..."we the people" would have "fixed his wagon" .....we would not have needed some lame "judge" to tell us about how tuff the criminals childhood had been and how we should feel sorry for the scumbag.
I wish there was someway I could ease this young man's (seal) pain. It makes me sad and angry. What a awful world America has become ...sadly.

Dawn duel at 20 paces...my money is on the vet. They messed with him by killing his dog and you just don't do that to a man in his state.

I'm not much of an animal person. But even I know you don't mess with a man's dog.
