Title: Trouble with AHevents.org

Just popped over to the site, and decided to log in, and upon doing so, I get, first, a bad link-
http://ahevents.orghttp//ahevents.org/index.php?Itemid=112&option=com_staticxt, and if I crop the first http://ahevents.org out (to what appears to be a normal link), I then get redirected to the AH Wiki page on HTTP. It seems as though I'm completely unable to log in.

Is this is a browser issue or something, or is there an actual problem with the website? I didn't see anything in the way of contact info on the site, so I thought I'd mention this here in the hopes that one of the admin might notice it.

Read the thread again and actually look at the link I said was bad.

To make it really clear, when I click "Log in" after entering user id and PW, this is where it redirects

http://www.ahevents.orghttp//ahevents.org/index.php?Itemid=112&option=com_staticxt

Obviously not a good link. If you crop the first part out, you are left with

http//ahevents.org/index.php?Itemid=112&option=com_staticxt

Which redirects to

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP

I keep trying it, and occasionally it just takes me back to the same page, but I can't register for events or view other areas where one must be logged in. Anyone?

Hubs, PM me with your login name and email address you used to register on ahevents.

Note, this is not the same as this forum, it is a separate account altogether.  You probably know this, but I automatically remind people.

Then, I'll check to see what the problem is, the login feature is working fine, I just checked with my account, and by creating a new one.

First, let me see if your account is actually registered all the way before I wonder about hijacks and redirects.

Hub -- where did you get the first link?  Second, what are you trying to view on the site?

Going to http://ahevents.org and then logging in should leave you on the home page. 

My guess is you were trying to get to the event logs section of ahevents.  It does not require registration or login and should be accessible at

http://ahevents.org/eventlogs.html

let me know if you have additional problems.

I get the same thing when trying to semi-auto login.  Then I hit the back page, saw I was logged in, and went to the Logs.  Sucky way to get there for sure.

So I tried it by typing my PW in and went straight to the page.
