Title: Something American Idol fans should see.

Very refreshing and humbling. I've heard many perfom I've dreamed a dream. None were better then this.

Note the Judges expressions and the audiences first impression.

What a talented and spunky little lady. I hope she wins, she deserves to.

In Concert Live I've heard Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin. On Stage I've heard Beverly Sills and Julie Andrews.

In my nearly 60 years on this planet Idon't remember hearing anyone better...equal maybe
but none better then Susan Boyle.

What an incredible talent. And equally a fun and incredible Lady.

I listened to her twice... She blows Elaine Paige away....Absolutely... :rock
Brought a few tears to my eyes....Was truly beautiful...

She's too old to participate in american idol (age limit...) certainly doesnt have physical features to sell for.. look at how everyone was like "wtf this is gonna suck so bad I cant wait to laugh at it"

lets see whos lefto n american idol, that lil rounds whos basicaly getting votes from guys who like big butts and they cannot liee....

LOL..You aint lyin!! Nobody on American Idol ever sounded that good. Ive watched it a few times now, and each time as soon as the music starts,and you see the concentration in her eyes, mine get misty.

I read that she was starved of oxygen at birth so has some issues, and still lives in the same house she was brought up in. Her father died 10 years ago and her mum in last year or so, and she's had some depression.

Appears to be a lovely humble lady, I hope she makes a mint.

No, I don't think I ever will. I just can't stand that type of singing. It's so proper and fake feeling to me. Just not my cup of tea.

No lie, I'm old. What I have come to appreciate is a great voice no matter the music. I may not necessarily like the song but I really enjoy the talent. If you had a little more exposure you would very young folks performing opera etc.

I read that she stopped singing in church to care for her mother. She didn't rehearse for that audition and that was the FIRST TIME she has sung in over two years. To still have that range without practice is EXTREMELY rare.

To echo Vulcan, she is in the middle of getting a contract with Cowell's "Syko Music" label under Sony. She deserves everything she gets.

Now. TwentyFo, come on. Shelve the crap in a thread like this, please. You wanna be the devil's advocate? Do it in another thread. This woman has brought a rare thread in this Forum that doesn't have a "pissing match" going on. Leave this one be.
