Title: rudder pedal fix
Post by: skullman on April 17, 2009, 09:38:16 AM
Someone was telling me about how to fix the pedals for 1 leg usage-I heard curling the toes and old slippers.I was at walmart and saw these shoes.I bought em 1 size larger so they would slip on an off easily. They have a movable strap on the heel which makes it easier to move.I attached them with velcro pads.I forgot who told me but thanks as it works really well.

Personally, I would have gone with a sensible pump or a very sexy stilleto heel.

That's what I thought - at first glance it appeared like shiny gold color.  I was wondering if he stole the shoes from John Travolta or something.  It wasn't until I read the camo reference that I went back and looked closer.

:rofl :rofl :rofl When I saw the shoe/slipper the first time I didn't realize it was camo. Then when you said camo in another post I looked again and sure enough it was. Now frankly, do not get the matching space suit.  :lol :lol

Anyway, don't let them distract you from a brilliant idea. :salute

btw, are you going to be fitted with a prostheses? if so then you may be able to use both feet in the future.

All the best!
