Title: Community Question
Post by: Chalenge on April 17, 2009, 01:31:04 PM
If someone defected to make a capture go easier or to get a CV sunk by sterring it purposely to its demise is that acceptable by the community and HTC either one?

This was just done to Bish by a certain individual from knights who openly bragged about it on 200 and on bish channel. I was afk and didnt return until the deed was accomplished or the rank question would have solved it. The question is if it is done in return now is that kosher? or should I just let it go?

He made an bellybutton of himself, is making an bellybutton of your self going to fix things?

This is the type of lame/poor game play I always talk about. Had I seen someone do it I would have ridiculed him untill I was muted.

Okay the 6 kills I got on him as a gunner will have to do. I think he made a pretty good example of himself today.

I think you should call him out on something like this, I don't think it would be accepted by any side.  :salute

Knight's have a General Order stating:
Keep all CV's at the farthest corners of the map, especially enemy CV's we have captured. Do not try and use these CV's to attack the enemy as we might lose one.

It is unfortunate that people play the game like that.

So I guess that dude just was trying to follow Knight orders..............  Since they couldn't do it with planning and skill, they decided to send him over with his high rank and steer it towards the nameless, faceless, fools who would sink her!

He doesnt rank high in any category but no one noticed until he started to rant and brag about doing it. Obviously he takes pride in acting like a punk.

We had a instance where a guy switched countries so he could bring GV supplies from our field to his buddies attacking. One of our squadies switched sides after 30 mins and came over and kept killing his goon, I thought the whole thing was pretty funny.

Well I did. I'm not too familiar with the new scoring page and witch hunts but I didn't find anyone you had 6 kills on in LW. I may have to wait until tomorrow and check again.
I agree you doing it in return just makes you look foolish and doesn't really hurt the perp too much. The perps actions were L A M E .

What you do is go to Individual Statistics on the scoring page and then click on the Ship Gunner listing and you can see everyone that has been killed by 'Player.' The perp in question died in PTs and B24s and 234s.  :D

Knights have general orders?  Who the hell is king of the knights?  WHo the hell is making "General orders"

Doing what ever the player did was not cool at all...but in this game anymore nothing suprises anyone does it?

I am the king of the knights and those are my orders. Do not forsake them or ye shall feel the wrath of an noe pork and auger.

If anyone does that... they are not worth wiping your feet on. Should anyone on that team not speak out against it then they would not be worth dirt either.

Very simple

I had a feeling it was operator error on my part.

They should make it so that after you switch teams you can't move a CV nor man a SB. that would go a long way to curbing this crap.

Actually, I like this idea.  Keep the switching time limit the same but make a cv command time limit that somehow correlates with the time necessary to get "win the war" perk points.  Is it 24 hours?

Was requested/suggested many, many, many, moons ago, no change as of now.
