13 MPG was tasked with bomber lead for the axis friday night (Strike Group A). Our sister squads were the Lychmob and the 327th Steel Talons. Our rides were the Ju88's. Along with our escorts ( Army of Muppets, Jokers Jokers, and 111/Jg11 Sonderstaffel) we attacked 3 separate targets. Our targets were in this order, a18,a8 and v83. We gaggled up i n a big flock of 88's and leveld at 10 k. I remember seeing spits and typhoons b4 our first drop. We got in the manual sights and dropped a decent amount of hangers at every base. Salute to those defenders at all bases, not many returned home from our attack group.
I appreciate the Lynchmob and 327th for following my plan accordingly. You guys did a great job for the numbers we had.
From the logs I can see the whole attack group was low on numbers. However , you guys did a great job with your targets... Salute to the Cic's, and both sides of the conflict. Was a good battle.. Thanks, TUK151 Co 13 MPG . :salute

It was us AK's and the VFA-169 Excaliburs. Alot of us acutally made it home because of radiator, oil hits, or pw's. But we didn't go empty handed either. Your escorts really suffered there with maybe only 25% bomber loss. They did there job good and kept us bsy from yas. VFA was the spits that attack the bombers with very few AK's that were able to break off ur escorts. Was definately a good fight. <S>

JG11 was among the escort of those JU-88's, flying Bf-109G-2's. Those were some great fights over A18 (Typhons & Hurricanes) and A8 (Spitfires). Don't know who that last Tiffie was, chasing our BUFFs off North-East from A18, but he was one persistent pilot! After he made some three passes on our charges I *finally* forced him to break off and dive away home to the South-West. :salute
Over A8 I must have hit some sort of limit on the Aces High front end, because planes were winking in and out of existence all around me.
