cool Pics. How High are you allowed to fly those Rec. Planes?
-
Amazing pics!
i been there first time 14-15 years ago working on cruise ships, we used navigate under the Golden Gate bridge and dock the ships close the famous Chocolate Factory. I been hauling freight also from Canada to SF, and otw back produce from Salinas,Watsonville , but i had enough with west coast:crazy traffic always on I-5, nasty DOT inspections, speed limit 55mph for trucks in CA and expensive diesel.

The first golden gate one is really cool ... with the workers on the top. :rock dude.
-
That just makes me wish I had more money for a PPL...thanks Nova :cry
Neat pictures, though.

Do you have a UV filter on the camera? If not, consider trying one out for shooting pics from the air. With a little photoshop work on the colors, some of those pics would be stunning.

Haha nope, it's just a little Cannon point and shoot (SD1100).. Great little camera for $200 bucks!

Whatever else you may say about it, San Francisco and its surroundings are gorgeous. Makes it so a great many people want to live here and our houses are so freaking expensive.

You mean a nice city like that is fun to nuke inside games like Sim City, right? You're not talking about the actual SF? It's not really clear in your post.

No but frankly that doesn't matter.

Sheesh, don't level the place... It would be a great place to live without the wackos. Maybe just killing off all the idiots (most of them?) and taking over the place would be a good start. Start with the retards who thought it would be a good idea for one of the most traditional "navy ports" in the world to turn down a surplus carrier or battleship for museum, simply because they didn't like the president at time time. What a bunch of short-sighted tools, not only did they turn their backs on history and the men and women who guard them, they made pretty much every military member and vet lose respect for the city and it's inhabitants. There used to be a lot of pride in the navy presence in SF, and in one politically motivated move they lost the respect of pretty much everyone who wasn't blinded by rage and hatred of one guy who would be out of office in a few years anyhow.
Retards. Get rid of the retards and I'd happily move there.

Well this thread took the wrong damn turn.. How about this.. We all agree there's idiots everywhere so nobody has to point fingers at anyone.. Ok cool..
Enjoy the pictures..

Seriously.. Karnak it's the same on both sides. Now that that's out of the way, the thread can hijack itself back to nice pics of/from planes.. Cue Nova :)

But finger pointing is SO FUN! :)
Still, seeing the photos made me a bit homesick. I like amost all of California better than most of TX.

I was born near SF but grew up in San Diego. Both sets of grandparents lived in SF, one in San Mateo and one in Palo Alto.
