BTW I was allways wondering, how do you name the plane so precise? I am sure I wont be able to say if this is 1007Bis, 1007, 1007Ter or 1015? The main diffirence it the engines, but I doubt you can say from this pic.
Also is this like a general guess?? Because for me the do all look the same (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

Ha! No, not God. Although my aviation library is probably larger. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Seriously, I have not counted how many aviation books and periodicals I have on hand. However, I would estimate the collection at 300+ books and perhaps an similar number of magazines, some dating back to 1937. In addition, I have over 15,000 digitized photos and at a significant collection of photographs, slides and negatives. I've been collecting this stuff for nearly 40 years. I have probably 40 to 50 books stacked within reach of my desk and virtually every square foot of wall space in my den (22 x 14 ft) is covered with shelves and books. If I were to count all of my books (95% military and aviation history), I would expect to see at least 600 volumes. You can find some truly great books in used book stores and garage sales.
The key to playing the Name the Plane Game is having good resources and a decent memory.
My regards,
Widewing

The CANT Z.1007bis was far and away the most numerous version. It was powered by the Piaggio engines, which can be determined by the long inlet scoop atop the cowling. The most important clues were the camo pattern and unit numbers seen in Brady's photo. The aircraft appear to be part of 230 Squadriglia, which flew the Z.1007bis model exclusively.
