Friend of mine is trying to win this contest with his band.  They are a heavy metal group out of Orlando.

My buddy is the bass player.

At the top of the page on the left there are some ads playing...click on the Monster Band of the Year banner.

The name of the band is: whowasi

Check it, then input your email addy in.  You'll get an email asking you to verify.

It's a bit of a pain, but it is a real deal and not a spam site or anything.

As I voted for Sabre's country songs, I SURE can vote for a heavy metal band  ;)

I voted like every week for months on that country site...sabre I think it was...Rich Owen is the real name, I remember that.  :)

Turn about it fair play.  I've voted for "Who Was I", too, Curval, and thanks for the opportunity to return the favor.  By way of update, even without continued reminders to my AH buddies recently, my song, "Don't Give Up On Me" is still in the Independent Music Network's Top-30 Country Chart (www.independentmusicnetwork.c om).  Except for one week, it has been in the top-30 for 28 continuous weeks now.  Currently at #15. :rock  Good luck to your friend and his band! :salute
