I would love to see the Mosquito Mk VI updated graphically, flame dampers removed and performance uprated accordingly. I'd also like to see the Mosquito B.Mk IV and Mosquito B.Mk XVI (perked) added at the same time.
A perked gun package for the Mk VI consisting of the Mollins 6lber, automatic 57mm cannon is a nice dream too.

Multiple Mk XVI formations with cookies targetting HQ's could be fun................ they were good to what altitude?????? (36K )

+1 for more British A/C

would the B versions get perma-WEP like our heavies do at the moment?
*ducks*

Fix the sluggish elevators while you are at it please :)
They feel like they are connected to the stick by rubber bands. In some condition it is very hard to stall the mossie even with full stick deflection - almost as if the stall limiter is on. My guess would be that this is an artifact of the CG that was moved forward in the last mossie FM fix.

Bozon do you know for sure that that's not just a badly made combat trim? I get that same inability to exceed the envelope around 300-360mph or so.

That's a good point. The Mossie is one of just a handful of planes that I make certain to turn off Combat Trim before a fight. Of course, what do I know?

I noticed it and I'm pretty sure (been a while) that it solved it.. A lot like the 84's CT isn't optimized for max positive elevator authority at high-ish speed.

I don't use the combat trim.
There used to be an issue with CT when the CG was aft. Back then combat trim did not trim the plane to level flight, but to a shallow climb. Since CG was fixed, trim does what it is supposed to - that is trim for level flight. It is not supposed to affect instantaneous turn before you start to loose speed. Anyway, the rubber elevator is there even without it. When I played online, I used to manually trim nose up before entering a fight so I can pull max G for the current speed.

I'm no longer sure which thread to whine in - this one or the Aircraft & Vehicles one.
So far as I can see, the AH Mossie is "short" 300 feet/min climb when fully loaded (not sure what that means when lighter) and seriously down on deck speed. Ours barely gets with drop tanks gone what the RL got with drop tanks on, even before the whole flame damper issue!
It's slower than slow!
Whine! B*tch! Curse! Moan!

Speed up the mossie we have and let us have a bomber option with drones but perked.
Cookie enabled if possible. :pray

I know Batfink could use a few more mosquitoes. :aok

If the B Mk IV were to be added, would it probably have the ability to carry the 6/500lb bombs or the 4000lb cookie? I'm reading a few different sources and Im not able to tell if the multiple variations of the B Mk IV had the ability to carry either payload.
and yes... PLEASE update the current AH2 Mossie's flight model, graphics, speed stats, etc, which also inclused as many of us have said time and time again, removing those blasted flame dampeners/exhaust shrouds. :)
Let the Mossie be was it was in WWII: a fear aircraft in all roles! :aok

The B.Mk IV could not carry a 4,000lb bomb. The B.Mk IV 'Special' could, but it wasn't happy. I've also never heard of a B.Mk IV carrying six 500lb bombs. I don't know if it had the wing points for them.
The B.Mk XVI was built from the start to carry a 'cookie' and did so with ease. The B.Mk XVI could also carry six 500lb bombs.

This would be an amazing update - +1 :D :aok

ah yes... I had my variants mixed up. The B Mk XVI was the variant that was 6/500lb capable. Yes, indeed the Mkk XVI would be a much valued addition to the hanger. Either take the "cookie" along with 9 of your buddies for a HQ run or the 6/500lb bombs for some gv poppin' or hanger bustin'. Nice.
