I think his mouth is still dry from being wide open for so long. Give him another 2 days to recover.

Well honestly FedEx lost his system, it was shipped Monday with a delivery of Tuesday (he is one state over), the tracking number 893635110000132 shows no delivery date (it did on Monday showing Tuesday), I think a Driver, warehouseman, worker of some sort has him/her a new gaming system.  Skullman and I have both been on FedEx's arse.  I can not figure out how something with a tracking number can be lost.

I was asked in another post do I stand behind my systems, I do and his new parts less memory arrive today, memory on Monday.  My wife and I are planning on taking a road trip and hand delivering his system once completed.  She will take a day off work and I will not be in house for builds but will be taking calls during the trip.

I hope FedEx will be better then UPS on damaged/lost shipments and make a refund.  UPS @+6,000.00 TD@-6000.00.  FEDeX WANTS ME TO WAIT 14 DAYS before they will start processing a claim.

The tracking number is available for anyone to check on at www.FedEx.com

I am sorry Ferrel but this is out of my  control.  All I can do is get parts and rebuild which you are aware of.

I know this came up before in the UPS damaged shipment thread, but I think you should REALLY consider shipping your computers inside another unmarked box.  You're shipping them in the case box that has all of the NZXT fancy graphics etc on it.  How many hands touch that box during shipment?  It only takes one bad person to take it home with them.

You don't ship money in envelopes do you?

I tracked it. It said it was in their possession. What ever that means.

I do they have always been in "BROWN" unmarked boxes.  The UPS incident was so bad the outside brown box disapeared.

Yes with no delivery date... meaning they have no clue where it is.  Lost

When I received my system, it was in a brown box and the computer was inside another box within. I'm not sure what else you want the poor man to do? Heck, he is going to hand deliver this system.

When I worked at Audiovox Cellular in the early 90s, we had a lot of our boxes opened. Nothing worked to stem this theft even though we had no logos on the boxes and we used an address that didn't have the 'Audiovox' name on it. Turns out it was the local driver and the main receiving house guy were working together and eventually UPS caught the two.

Hey Tildeath, how come my system wasn't hand delivered? You could of taken I-95 north and in New Haven Connecticut take I-91. It wouldn't of taken more than a couple of days, I might of even had a meal ready for you.  :D

I too replied to the earlier "damaged by UPS" thread thinking, according to the attached pictures, that a finished system had been shipped in nothing better than a flimsy NZXT case factory shipping box. I apologize for my earlier comments and stand corrected. I didn't realize an outer cardbard enclosure had been torn away in the shipping process.

From what I read in another thread, TD goes to extreme measures to protect his shipments. In fact if I recall correctly it was one of his customers who pointed this out.

Skullman not a problem at all, a Saturday road trip for us.  Nice of the cable guy to bump you, but IMHO if they place an item with a customer they should know how to configure it.  I will get your Modem info and get you connected properly tomorrow.

I would like to thank Joel B. from OCZ Technology who went out of his way on a Friday night to send the memory out overnight to me so I could make this happen for you.  He delivered this himself to the FedEx office for an OVERNIGHT delivery.  Also thanks go out to OCZ and NZXT for picking up the overnight charges to get the needed components here for the short notice build (you would think FedEx would have offered) but no they didn't.  And mostly Cynthia, who did the driving from Atlanta to Talladaga since I spend the night building, loading and dialing in your system (I did manage to get some flights in too).

I hope you enjoy the system for many years to come.

TD

BTW where might I find you?  I need to pad my score some  :devil

I saw you were in the other MA an stayed away.I actually got a kill.WOOHOO.I had a blast as this was the smoothest flights I ever had.I love it.Man that soundpack rocks.I love the announcements to scramble-pretty cool.Just gotta get used to the controls. Was auger king last night.Man the altec lansing speakers rock.I could get evicted with these.I have heard alot of bad about Vista but just playing around it is not bad.The problems I have are my fault.Man this rudder pedal fix works really well.Kinda weird driving with my foot.Again TD,thanks for everyting bro.You went way over the top on this and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This system truly rocks. And where is my steak? :rofl
If anyone is considering purchasing a new system and goes anywhere else you are making a huge mistake. The quality and service an on a scale unheard of these days.TD takes alot of pride in his work and it shows. This aint something that was thrown together by some unknown idiot.TD builds quality systems at an unheard of price that cannot be matched. Not only that but made sure I was buying quality peripheals to go along with the system.

What he said.

Out of curiosity, heard from Fed Ex yet?  Just ran the tracking number and it's still missing as far as I see.  From my experience it looks like it was scanned onto a truck but never scanned off of the truck.  Either is "fell off the truck" or it lost it's label and should be getting researched.

wrongway

Rich, I wonder why they want you to wait for 14 days, we ship FedSex from work @ 150 packages a day (15 for UPS) and every time we have damaged or missing products they have been very good to me - I am usually the one to file the claim - and we almost never ship anything insured.  Even the 1200.00 microwaves that they drop get paid in full without inspection.  We have had a few packages that were sent overnight from Ohio to PA for early morning delivery and they found in in Utah the next day and other similar instances and they usually will cover the next day air charges for the replacement item to be shipped.  I'll give them a call and use a little leverage if you'd like me to.  You have my number, call me.

PS Your build is still  :O 'ing us and putting a  :D on Sue's face every time she goes to do anything.  Thanks a million.  :salute  :rock

That's awesome Skullman. I sometimes play music from my computer using old Harmon Kardon speakers. They sound great. My mom was even impressed. My gaming computer actually has the better speakers but I only use that for games.

Did you get a soundcard Skullman? If not, how is the game playing?
