Pyro, a P39 of any 37mm carrying variant would be much appreciated (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) I was quite partial to it for ack suppression in WB. I imagine a few rounds of 37mm from the top in an Ostwind would work quite well and am dying to test my theory (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) I'm not concerned about it's lack of handling and vulnerability in this arena, it's just that much more of a challenge to get it home (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I'd personally like to see more early war variants before we get the "Perk Planes".

Me too (on the P-39 for an Ostwind killer). Very much so.

How about B-25H with 75mm (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Mosquito with 57mm or 75mm cannon (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Oh man, the Bell P39 Aircobra. I loved that plane in WB.

Let's at least make at P-63. Something new, and all (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Il-2M3 has TWO superior 37mm cannon, 8 rockets and two bombs...
-
Yak-9T 37mm (NS-37)
Yak-9K 45mm (NS-45)
both are easy to do variants

LOL! Pyro, if you're reading this now you have a reason for the BFG plane! To restore the balance that the ostwind has disrupted (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Hmm, come to think of it, maybe that's why the ostwind was placed here to begin with ...
P-39Q, Il-2m3, and Yak-9T!!!
It will still be a real 'iffy' prospect, but a steep diving attack may do the trick with any of these planes.
-
Aper, the Yak-9UT also had the 23mm, 37mm, and 45mm options, and would easily fit into our Yak-9U aircraft as optional armament.
Plus the Yak-9UT has alot more power than the Yak-9T or Yak-9K (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Well, LW need a plane that can bust tanks with cannons a lot more than than the yanks. As do the Italians, the russkies and the Japanese.
JU-87 with 37mm - it'll be a single purpose weapon and won't be used in an a2a role.
Am afraid the others will be subject to dweeberymuch like other planes are being misused.

Can I have the Piaggio P.108A to shoot at ground targets with? :-)
It'll never be used air to air.
I think the P-63 would be a good late war add for the game, and some (most?) of the modeling could be used to add the P-39 for early war.

i agree too many yank planes. why not add a ruskie tank buster?
or even a stuka

Well, to be fair to HTC, this is, after all, an American game with, I'm pretty sure, a mostly American player base. It would make no sense to produce a game for a limited player community that doesn't focus on the aircraft of its main customer base. I'm sure more non-American type aircraft will make its way here, but only after the fact.
An unfortunate direction for me personally, but a very sound one for HTC, and I certainly won't fault them for that (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I really wish they would start thinking about adding more early war aircraft. It would be great for the scenarios. It would be great so we could get a rolling plane set. It would be a blast to down aircraft with .303's. That would be a nice long fight. A P39 or a B25h ahhhh that would be great!! Even some of the other countrys planes but early war would be great!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your patience.

Hi
Didnt P39s only have 15rds of 37mm after some of the early examles which only had 20rds?
thanks GRUNHERZ
-
Grunherz,
No, P-39s always had the capacity for 30rds of 37mm, though I think most loaded only 29rds, because it didn't need as much attention when loading.
