Title: 4-29-09 Wednesday Night Mission

This week will be a Finnish Ju-88 raid into Mother Russia. The bombers target will be the city of Leningrad. Bombers altitude will be somewhere between 10 and 17K and fighters shouldn't go above 30k. Here are the list of planes that will participate in the mission. And I ask that the allies stay behind the white line until you visually spot the bombers.


Axis (Finland) Field A64
Ju-88
Bf 109G2
Bf 109G6

Allies (Soviet Union) Field A5
La-5N
P-40E
P-39Q
Yak-T

Launch time is 8PM CST and I ask that if a CM can be there to turn dar radar off for the mission. And since the allies will be flying so close to axis front lines maybe dropping the radar at A42 would be a good idea.

Go with the P-39. It cuts through Ju-88s like a hot knife through butter.

The Yak-9T's 37mm cannon has much better ballistics, and it's faster, too.

Its about 1am, I would love to come to this, maybe Ill be there as I dont have work tomorrow,

do we get two lives only? as the last time I was in the AvA arena RTR shot me down almost every flight  :rofl

Don't worry, the mission was scrubbed. Titanic Tuesday was up so half of the area lost UDP and vox when they entered the AvA.



I know its not the same thing, but I wonder how fast it would be fixed if half the MA or FSO lost vox because of something going on in the AvA or TA.

My bet would be VERY soon, probably within a few days. Im sure you would see eclest 3-5 threads about it on the general discussion section.  :roflThis has been happening to us in the AVA every Tuesday for how long now?
