I have a Saitak Av8r - as of 4 days ago or so I haven't been able to get a full calibration (or full manifold pressure) despite trying to recalibrate a number of times. I'm not knowledgeable about Saiteks; this is the first one I've had, (and hate it) So i'm really not sure what's going on with it. Should I pop the disc it came with in and reinstall it?
Here's some screenshots of the 1st throttle not running at full power, even though I have it as far as it can go. I appreciate any help you computer wizzes can give me :lol

Looks like a pot not reading the full travel.
Try recalibrating, do NOT get into the deadspot when you move the throttle.
If needed go into AH, options, controls, map controllers, select throttle, calibrate that axis only.
And again, when you do, do NOT get into that dead spot. Keep it just short of it.
Then test, see if you can get full travel.
If not, return the stick.

How do I avoid the deadspot when I recalibrate in game?
Btw I appreciate the fast response Ghost

I noticed you have your deadzone for Throttle#1 bumped up a little. This may be eliminating the last 10% or so of travel. Try turning deadzone all the way down for both throttles...
nevermind I think I was seeing that wrong.
Try recalibrating your throttles (in windows) except don't push them up above 80% of the way up during the calibration process. This will make it translate 80% throttle into 100% throttle (the top 20% won't matter).
Then when you're in AH, just use it normally. See what that does.

For the time being you can move your outter dead band in one notch. That should give the throttle full travel. It will max out on the third notch from the center. I'd do this for both throttles, so they will both max out at the same point.
Just curious, did you calibrate the stick within your control panel? If not, I'd try that too. I notice your 'Y Axis' is off center.
Good Luck.

I might invest in something more expensive yet more reliable. A CH stick. The Extreme 3D pro is nice, but it comes with a death sentence. Mine lasted only 2 years before it whacked itself out of proportion. From what I've read, not many people ever get their 3D pro to last past the 2 year mark.
