Today was my official retirement date from the USAF. Went and got the new blue retired ID card today. Seems weird, 24 years flew by. I am lucky enough to have picked up a job doing the exact same thing that I did while I was on active duty, only difference is I wil be home more ( I'm sure the wife will grow to regret that).

Thank you so much for your service!
I doubt the wife will regret you being home more. Mine retired about 4 years ago and it hasn't stopped being a joy to see him every day. :)

Regardless of your branch of service, my family and I thank all of you veterans.
AF wouldn't take me in '65. Requested to be returned to Oakland Induction Center three more times, still no go.
Greatly admire all of you who have served, and those of you still serving. You folks are MY heros.
