Howdy, my computer has been fried for a good while now and I still do not have my own personal computer yet. In which, I doubt any of yall miss me. But I hope to be back in the virtual skies soon. <S>
P.S. But I shall also be attending the Universal Technical Institute with their FORD FACT program this upcoming winter. (Just had to toot my own horn a bit.) :aok

Listen to me and listen to me good.
Not sure what the ford thing is, but if it means you will be a mechanic for a decent sized garage (chain type) in a decently populated area,...but not too too big - you will make more than an Engineer in good time if you really dive into your work.
It's hard on the body but easy on the mind after awhile. I wish I had gone that route honestly. Sure you will have BS that you don't think other folks deal with, TRUST me every occupation sucks (for the most part), the blue collar ones are starting to pay very nice because no one wants to do them or...businesses can't find qualified 'techs'.
I know two people that spent very little money becoming mechanics and make at least $65k, work 7.5 hours a day and have great benefits/vacation + they get cheap vehicles.
Honestly, I'm thinking of taking it up as a fall back from the Computer biz. I'm getting burned out as I have been in it for 16 + years.
