Title: Question re mouse toggle on Saitek X52
Post by: Smothers on May 04, 2009, 02:22:11 PM
Wasn't sure where to post this........

I am wondering how to map the blue mouse toggle on my Satek X52 so it works in aceshigh (for the clipboard).  Members in my squad have said it worked for them right out of the box (without needing to map).  thx

I just bought a X-52 and my mouse toggle doesnt work either, it worked on the X-36 and X-45 I had before.

Could be something to do with drivers?, I have the latest ones, I'm in XP Professional 64 bit

Perhaps the SST Programming software is required (Your friends might have installed it with their X-52 drivers)?

If you have the drivers installed, you should be able to use the small little "button" next to the joystick device on the throttle.

However, I believe you have to use the SST software to get the joystick device/mouse enabled in game.

Are you talking about the button in the middle of the lower trim wheel?  That is a 'clutch' button.. by default it is used to cycle through profiles, etc.  You can disable the 'clutch' feature in the Saitek Driver options menu and then use it as a normal button.

Keep in mind you need the newest drivers to do this.. the older versions didn't allow this.

you have to download the newest drivers and you can map the mouse hat and everything else any way you want i was using the bottom trim wheel for flaps.
