OK, I'd just like to add my two pennies worth to the "bring X to AH" debate.
Yes I think there should be more Japanese planes and I'd also love a late war Spit but here's one that no-one seems to have mentioned so far: the Yak-3. Fits nicely in with the rest of the late war fighters.
What do people think?

I think that the Yak-3 is a natural fit, but I'd like to see a Russian bomber first. With the Yak-9U and La-7 the Russian planeset is doing pretty well on competetive fighters.

What's the big difference between the AH Yak-9 and a Yak-3?

Yak-9U is a little bigger and faster and has higher speed.
Yak-3 is smaller and more nimble and climbs a little better.
I'd rather see a Yak-9D and Yak-1. More useful for scenarios.

yak-9d is real easy just change armorment on yak-9t
he could do it in 5 minutes.

Exactly Zig.
Yak-1 doesn't require too many changes either. Then we have some representative early-mid-war VVS fighters for scenarios.
Yak-3 is a sweetie too though. :)

Being a fan of the VVS planes, I would eventually like to see the Yak-3 as well.
But for now, I don't think its worth it.
We need too many other planes in the plane set, and there is just not that much difference between a Yak-3 and the Yak-9U to justify the expediture of resources that could be used in another aircraft.
