I've been curious about the ETC 504 external stores rack on the Fw 190D-9. Specifically the frequency of its installation. According to this Focke Wulf development report, in Fw 190 "Long Nose" by Dietmar Hermann....

ETC 504 on every aircraft leaving the factory with
170- or 300-liter auxiliary tank installed beneath the fuselage.
115-liter long range tank installed in every aircraft, however provision to be made for use with methanol-water as well.
MW 50 system to be installed in every aircraft.

So, how closely was this order to equip every aircraft with an ETC 504 ordered? Should we have mandatory racks on the Dora, like on the P51 etc.?
Also, is the 115l long range tank not the auxiliary tank we have in the Fw 190 A-8?

It's the MW50 tank. The A8 doesn't have it, in many A8s they were used as aux fuel tanks. In the Doras it was used as intended (additive, not fuel).
