Title: Good inexpensive keyboard?
Post by: Getback on May 07, 2009, 01:07:31 PM
I think mom's comp needs a new keyboard. What I was thinking was giving her my old Compaq kb and buy a new one. I wanted the logitech g15 but that is out of my range at the moment. I was thinking under $20. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Under 20$, how about 25$?  With Taxes or Shipping it would be about that.

20$:

Used it before.  Good quality, controls, cheap.  I replaced it after the 5th soda made some keys stick.

Using this one (50$) now:

Very nice Keyboard.

Getback, make sure the keyboard you buy has a palm rest. Otherwise you might be hurting.

What's the difference between a $20.00 keyboard and one that costs more than $50.00?  Isn't a keyboard a keyboard a keyboard...?

The difference is eye-candy, weight, performance, reliability, response time, comfort, and functionality.

I got a Cordless Logitech Keyboard/Mouse on clearance from Target about six months ago for $12.99...  aside from having the recharge the batteries every couple weeks or so, it works great!

my keyboard was £4 and has 10 million guaranteed key presses,  it is BenQ.

I threw out my old logitech wireless keyboard because it had a mind of its own and typed random stuff when the batteries were going off it made me look insane.  :uhoh
