This 51 pilot flys like we only get one. I expect to get picked in any fight, but this one takes the cake. (http://i343.photobucket.com/albums/o460/caldera_08/smilies/rolleye0003.gif)
Watch the first 3:15 at 2X speed. 3 or 4 minutes of him diving to chase the low B-25 were edited out. I let him regain his alt. and he still runs.

Can somebody please help him? He needs a mentor. :pray

It is up to each player how to use their $15/mo. I prefer to take off with the idea that I will be landing it later.
-
What were you flying?
-
More than 1, less than 15,000 in a 24 hour period? :D

Ultimately it's up to each player to decide how he wants to play the game. Personally I take off each time the more or less the idea of landing the sortie when I'm finished. What I try to do is not let that idea get in the way of situations where I'm forced to work at it, pushing my meager skills to the point of breaking. Sure I "die" more often than not but it makes those successful sorties so much more satisfying. Sooner or later the timid flyer will get tired of losing every time he/she is placed in a position where they lose the advantage and can't run, they'll seek out help and grow as a player.

It's real frustrating caldera, I feel your pain :(
Nice flying though

Thanks Buster. Almost decided to just fly straight and let the spixteen have the kill. I understand the desire to stay alive but not to avoid any kind of fight.

My wife came over and watched me take off once, as I was climbing up to altitude she said "Wow, how do you land it?" I replied, I don't know, I haven't needed to yet.

Hiya Grizz :)
Actually I went geek....15k is more than one death every 6 seconds. I don't think you can die and re-spawn in much less than 6 seconds.
Thot u stopped flying???!!!???

I had an amusing encounter with a Dora today, I was TRYING to rtb with low fuel and here comes a dora.. he came in from high 9 at half the speed of light, fired, missed by a mile and kept going.. and going.. and going.. till 6.0 out.. then here he came again.. coming in at high 3.. zzzzzooooooommmmmm not even close again.. and going.. and going and going.. to 6.0 out... the third time when he got to 3.0 out I turned towards. him.. and he dove.. under me.. didn't even make an attempt to shoot.. and extended to 6.0 out and climbed again to make another pass.. at this point I was more or less ignoring him.. and ended up RTBing safe.. he never once tried to get on my 6.. just the high speed slashing passes like he was attacking buffs.. hell he didn't even go into the ack, he just turned and went away. I understand timid flying, and I understand only taking high speed pick shots to avoid getting anchored in enemy territory.... but this was far beyond either of those, this was just... lunacy.
