Sorry to rebother with my newbieness of airsoft.

I went to http://www.evike.com/ and found a bolt action sniper. With my wanted requirements, but one.

I chose the TSD M700 LONG BARREL, http://www.airsoftpost.com/matrix-m700-long-barrel-airsoft-sniper-rifle-black-p-28581.html, the only problem, 430 - 450fps. Is there anyway of weakening the spring enough to lower it to around 380 - 400fps?

If you're going to ask why i want the sniper to be weaker, when i should want it to be stronger, its because of the restrictions at the field i want to go to.

 Field website: http://www.sequoiaairsoft.com/

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

				430-450, ouch that will hurt.

The worst pain i inflicted was one of my team mate shooting his grenade launcher at me 10 ft away.  my whole up side body had welts.

Evike's a terrible website, stay away.
Link to a review of the TSD M700 (http://www.airsoftretreat.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=248&cat=80)

Glancing through the review, the bolt is not sealed shut so you should be able to easily swap out the spring with an M110-M120 strength spring designed for the Tokyo Marui VSR series.

Yes, you need to swap out spring, TM are best

Well, I've decided that a full metal M4A1 carbine AEG would be best for me. By the way, where or what website is the best for airsoft?

there are tons lately for airsoft stuff, but airsoftextreme, evike, airsplat, to name a few. Go to airsoftmechanics.com , there are more links & tips & stuff to zero in on what you're looking for.

 That's a bit of a jump :lol What brand's the M4, curious?

Anyway, I have had personal experience with these retailers and can recommend them. All of these retailers have good prices, selections, and customer service.

 United States- General Airsoft Supplies
 www.airsoftgi.com (California)
 www.airsoftnw.com (Washington)
 www.trinityairsoft.com (Virginia or WV)

 United States- Specialty Military Surplus
 www.redsoldier.com (Texas IIRC)

I think I'm missing a few, but these are the websites I always go to first if I'm looking for something.

IF you can't find something, you may have to look overseas. Shipping can get bad if you're ordering a lot of stuff, however these retailers have huge selections.

 Overseas- General Airsoft Supplies
 www.wgcshop.com (Hong Kong)
 www.uncompany.com (Hong Kong)
 www.redwolfairsoft.com (Hong Kong)
