This so called "music" nowadays is nothing more than whiney little children in baggy oversized pants and a gold chain around there neck with a "im pizzed off at my daddy complex because he told me to get a job". Most of this dribble you hear on the radio sounds more like someone beating a seagull to death with a bent pipe.

Thank the lord for Rush limbaugh

Example of real music:

 :D

Everytime I'm on the PS3 the only thing I hear over other people mics is RAP (C-R-A-P) or Hip-hip. Really really sad.  :(

BTW, I think we now both qualify for the AARP "Guys yelling from the porch chair" award.

Didn't read the whole thread, just kind of perused through. If you're semi-into hip-hop/rap, you should check out the following - Talib Kweli, Jurassic 5, Blackalicious
(kind of a spin off of J5). All of which actually play their instruments live, no tracking whatsoever. I'd even go so far as to give a nod to the Black Eyed Peas for playing their own instruments. Not a huge fan of rap/hi-hop myself, but I do respect artists who actually play their own instruments.

Meh....All that stuff from there sounds exactly the same.....
They all sound like soundtracks from World of Warcraft.... :lol

Not saying it doesn't take talent to play....  It's just......weak.....There's no soul to it...And totally unoriginal....
There's like 5,000,000,000 bands that sound exactly like this...
Plus, the singer sounds like the Milan Petrozza from Kreator...  But, then again, everyone wants to sound like him..... :lol

Did some law get passed this year that you are only allowed to listen to silly electronic Casio keyboard beats and some bozo saying "yeeya"   "uhh"  "west side"  over and over and over and over again?  Crappy music is crappy music be it 2009 or 1969.

I can't believe after this long young people haven't evolved past rap.  It was an okay novelty when it came out but now it's just laziness.  No lyric or message that means anything (other genres just as guilty, but rap is the worst example).  Rap is nothing more than a soundtrack for the "hey everybody look at ME!!!" generation.  "Look how bad donut I am!!!"  Kids are so clueless these days they haven't even created their own culture, which is what they are supposed to do and always have.  They just get a few more tattoos and "sample" mom and dad's culture in a drum loop and call it theirs.

Embarrassing.
