I think part of the thing is that in the offline missions you actually fly to target, you fight the AI.  What about the stick that wants to up and kill until he has no ammo left.  What about the stick that isn't looking to dogfight the AI but rather hone their aim?  What about the stick that is trying to practice bomber attack approaches?  Do you need me to think of more...... dude?  I can go on, there is a million reasons.  You people need to lay off the anger pills.  Makes you not nice.

He actually says the word practice...........  Sounds like practice is a lot more then offline missions team.

so you could practice on diffrent planes

How do you practice jabo in offline missions without wasting 5 minutes getting there?
How do you practice ground range in offline missions?
How do you practice convergence differences in offline missions?

Oh wait, here's a really good one.....  How do you learn where to hit a Zero in offline missions?..... (aside from USRangers offline mission.... :salute)

"What's the difference between Hispano's and the Japanese cannons?  Gee whiz, I've already killed this B24 100 times with each.... But that's a B24.... What about the FF?"

"Choose Terrain" set an "ahta" terrain (I actually like 06 better than 08 for this purpose), hit "NE" from bases 20-25.

I notified you of the feature because of three posts in a row. If you really had to post that information simply edit your post to include your new comment and a quote from the person you're discussing this with.

You should read what people write bro.  Not trying to be a jerk here, but you look either stupid or like you're not reading.  And I know you're not stupid.

Actually practicing on different planes make sense......if......the plane reacted the way they should. The drones will continue to fly with all sorts of damage.

Zeros I go for wing root.......P-51s tails...190 wingtips......B-24s inboard fuel tanks.

The key is too hit where your aiming.....then it doesnt matter WHAT you aim at.

I would like some a little lower for AAA practice. :O

Now that is a VERY VERY valid point...... I have sat in an Osti for hours trying to hit those circling mules.  The WW doesn't have the range at all.  If we can set the altitude as well, the really bad shots can start off really short, say 1500ft (.5k)  As you get better you can increase target's alt.

I would like some a little lower for AAA practice. :O

HOLY SMOKES.... Another thing offline missions CANNOT help with.  All bad thoughts towards anyone aside........

I think for the most part, the group that is against altering offline, is simply because you all (I was too once) are just so far along in your experience with AH and you haven't touched Offline in years, you don't see the point in wasting time with it.  However, what about the Newbs?  If offline actually had some ability to change, it would not only be beneficial to the new cartoon characters, but the vet's as well.
