Title: High res texture pack

Hi i downloaded the high res texture pack and now the frane rate has slowed down a lot and i want to get rid of the pack buti have tried like deleting the whole game and then reininstalling it and i went into video settings and changed the max texture size to its lowest and still the fps is bad but before i installed the high res texture pack in was always running at 60 fps so please help?

Have you tried deleting the cache?

Except for enabling the hi res pack, I don't know how having it installed would make a difference on your frame rates.

You do not have to delete the high resolution texture pack.  Just change the "Maximum Texture Size", in the "Video Settings" to 512, from 1024 and that will stop the loading of the high resolution texture pack.

If you do not have the high resolution texture pack installed, setting the "Maximum Texture Size" to 1024 does not actually do anything.
